Palm Plant Area

  •     The palm plant area is the earliest dedicated garden in Xiamen Botanical Garden. Located by Wanshi Lake and covering an area of 50 hectares, this area showcases palm plants and boasts the richest ranges of palms in China. Palms here come in all shapes and sizes and have distinctive layers typical of palm groves of southern China. This area is one of China’s most renowned palm garden and one of the nation’s major bases for scientific research, popular science education, observation, and teaching of palm plants.
