Rainforest World

It’s a concentration of South Asian tropical plants with rainforest characteristics which are cultivated on natural vegetation; it features rich biodiversity and distinct population structures, and some rainforest characteristics, such as strangulation, caulifory, buttress root and hanging garden, have all taken hold. Within this area are two of Xiamen’s original top 24 sights – “Road on Purpled Cloud” and “Melodious Instrument Cave”, as well as the Qiaoxi Bridge dating back to the reign of Emperor Wan Li of the Ming Dynasty.
